Reebok BigTime / Nike Main Event July 22-26, 2006 Las Vegas, Nevada Info: The Reebok BigTime (17U) and the Main Event (16U & 15U) are NCAA-approved events, so college coaches from around the country will be in attendance to evaluate and scout players.  Games will be played on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.  Games will be played in gyms all around the Las Vegas area, not in one specific arena. Schedule: Tournament Schedule will be posted here as soon as it is received.  Schedules are usually posted 7-10 days prior to the tournament. Hotel Reservations:  Hotel rooms for Las Vegas will be provided for the 17u, 16u, and 15u players at the Excalibur Hotel and Casino.  Parents and other family members who are planning to make the trip will need to make hotel reservations ON THEIR OWN.  The team rate for rooms at the Excalibur are $139/night on Friday and Saturday, and $69/night on weeknights.  To receive the team rate at the Excalibur and make your reservations online, click HERE. Airline Reservations: Airline reservations for all players and family members will be ON YOUR OWN.  Players will need to be in Las Vegas early Saturday morning (July 22), and should plan on leaving Las Vegas no earlier than Wednesday evening (July 26).  The best rates for flights to Vegas are almost always from www.allegiantair.com.  Allegiant flies non-stop to Vegas out of Cedar Rapids, Des Moines, and Sioux Falls.  Other options include www.hotwire.com, www.priceline.com, or other internet booking sites.  Try to book the flight early, because the rates usually go up as you get closer to the travel date.  If you have questions about booking your flight, or if you'll be booking a flight for a player without an accompanying adult, please contact Coach Stephen. After finishing reservations for hotel and airlines, please let Coach Stephen know your travel plans, so we can keep track of when players will be arriving and departing. Vehicle Rental: The 17u, 16u, and 15u players will have a team van rented for the entire time they are in Las Vegas.  For families that are traveling with the team, they will need to rent their own vehicles for use while in Las Vegas.  Reebok has set up their teams with group rates through Enterprise, and you can get those rates by clicking HERE.  Vehicle rental can also be made from the same website as a package deal with airline tickets at www.allegiantair.com.  If you don't reserve your car or fly with Allegiant, we recommend www.hotwire.com for airline and vehicle reservations.  Directions Directions to hotel and playing sites will be posted here after the tournament schedule is received.
