Elite Shootout July 9-11, 2006 Indianapolis, Indiana Teams 16U and 17U Info: The Elite Shootout is an NCAA-approved event, so college coaches from around the country will be in attendance to evaluate and scout players.  Games will be played on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. Practice (updated 7/6) We will practice before leaving for Indinapolis on Saturday, June 8 at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids.  The gym will open at 11:00am Saturday morning, with practice going from 11:30-1:00.  The gymnasium at Kirkwood is located in "Johnson Hall".  A map of Kirkwood's campus is available HERE.  To get to Kirkwood from I-380, take the Highway 30 exit EAST, and immediately take the Kirkwood Blvd exit (also known as Bowling Street SW).  Follow Kirkwood Blvd South to campus.
