Real Deal on the Hill

17U Team 16U Gold 16U Black 15U Team Info: Hotel rooms and transportation for the Real Deal on the Hill will be provided for the 15u, 16u, and 17u players whose parents do not travel with the team. Team vans will make pickups in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, and Des Moines areas before leaving for Arkansas. The Real Deal on the Hill is an NCAA-approved event, so college coaches from around the country will be in attendance to evaluate and scout players. Games will be played on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Schedule:
Pool play games are listed below. All players should arrive at the gym at least 30 minutes prior to all games. All teams (players and coaches) will need to register at Bud Walton Arena between 5:00-6:00 on Friday night. If you are driving down separately from the team, please plan to meet us at Bud Walton at 5:00pm. After registration, there will be a mandatory Educational Session/Opening Ceremony at 6:00pm (Stephen A. Smith from ESPN is the guest speaker). We will then travel to the hotel to check-in and leave for our first set of games Friday night.

Take Blairsferry Road exit off of I-380, go east on Blairsferry to Council Street, turn North on Council, park in the north parking lot of the Mercy Health Plaza Building. Van Pickup in Iowa City Area: 8:15AM, Sears Parking Lot @ Coral Ridge Mall. Take Coral Ridge exit off I-80, Sears is the first parking lot on your right as you enter the mall.
Van Pickup in Des Moines Area: 10:00AM, McDonald's Parking Lot on Merle Hay Road. Take Merle Hay Road exit off I-80, go South two blocks, McDonalds is on your left.
